Research Interest
Fascinated by the seafloor: with a background in biology and environmental sciences, I work at the interface of marine hydroacoustics and machine learning. My current focus is the automated detection of individual boulders in bathymetric data, enabling area-wide characterisation of rocky habitats in the Baltic Sea — with the aim of providing a foundation for ecological research questions.
