About me
I am a PostDoc researcher at IOW. Since July 2025, I have been a member of the working group Large-Scale Circulation and Climate Variability. Right now, my scientific activities are focused on the project SeaGuard. Within this project, I am responsible for running climate simulations with the MOM6-ERGOM model setup and delivering data to our project partners. In addition, I am supporting the development of the IOW Earth System Model (IOW-ESM).
Scientific interests
- Biogeochemical cycles in the marginal seas
- Large-Scale climate variability
- Baltic Sea hypoxia
- Ecosystem modeling
Milestones
- July 2025: Joined the SeaGuard project and the Large-Scale Circulation and Climate Variability Junior Research Group.
- Feb 2024: Defended my PhD thesis at the University of Rostock.
- July 2020: Defended my Master's thesis at the Russian State Hydrometeorological University.
- July 2018: Defended my Bachelor's thesis at the Russian State Hydrometeorological University.
